7th grade students in Rooms 201 and 202 brushed up on camera procedures and focused on capturing a variety of wide, medium and close-up macro photographs around the Burley playground from a unique and fresh perspective.
Both classrooms of 7th grade students created nameplates using digital painting tools in Photoshop. Students focused on layering a variety of brush styles along with text showcasing their names. The various "images" you see are all brush styles from Brusheezy.com to use in Photoshop. Students attempted to represent a part of their personality visually in their design. Room 201 Room 202 Students in both 1st grade classrooms created digital paintings of various computer parts using Kid Pix software. They chose an item to create after watching a BrainPOP Jr about computers. In Kid Pix, students practiced mouse use (clicking, double-clicking, click-and-drag), adding and typing text, and the computer functions of printing and quitting the software. Room 106 Room 102 |
