After reading Not a Box by Antoinette Portis, first graders created drawings in KidPix, starting with a simple rectangular box shape. Students also photographed one another sitting inside an enormous cardboard box. Those photos then became the basis for a second set of imaginative drawings. Finally, we assembled both sets of drawings, added narration, titles, and music, and created this video. We hope it inspires you to use your imagination too!
